I really do not understand the removal of plants flowers and anything beautiful that grows and thrives. As long as it's been looked after why remove these things ... Oh dear I think it's really sad!!!

As long as it's not too big or encroaching on any other grave why is this even an issue not just in Garforth .

My Dad is buried in st Mary's and it is so upsetting to think people can just take things from his grave. Have people no respect these day's. My Dad's grave is well looked after along with many in the cemetery.

The council should not be able to do as they please on a grave that has been lovingly tended by a bereaved family.

There should be a right to plant and put items next to a loved ones grave.. The cemetery is hundreds of years old. And this wasn't or never has been the case prior.

Signing this petition as cost of a grave should give the right to plant plants. It is disgusting behaviour and not the way to deal with people grieving.

Who are you to dictate to heartbroken grieving relatives what they can do with this loved ones graves. To pull out plants like you did is heartless. Shame on you
