To: Ontario Parliament, Canadian House of Commons: We request the three levels of government of Canada to immediately intervene to protect Canadian Black people and other minorities in Canada from violent assault,false arrest, physical and psychological harassment, racial profiling and degrading and humiliating verbal abuse by Rideau Centre of Ottawa and such establishments. Rideau Centre of Ottawa, Canada, may as well be called "Racist Centre". Black people and other minorities are routinely accosted, insulted, assaulted, arrested and banned from the centre when they complain. We particularly urge the Government of Ontario to review and repeal the Trespass to Property Act of Ontario, which has turned out to be a weapon in the hands of racists to persecute their victims. We call each progressive consumer to sign on the petition to also personally make statement of protest by boycotting the Rideau Mall. We are urging them to please use other more tolerant, open-minded and diverse businesses in the capital region until the Rideau Centre apologizes publicly and acknowledges that their outmoded racism is shameful and unacceptable at this age and time, and above all is traumatic and has lasting damaging effects on their victims.
