Had to pay a ticket that was wrongfully giving at ribfest. This is an outrage to con people to park and then ticket people $100.00 where is the justice.

Where else do you expect us to park the event is in the suburbs ... what about people that had to drive from brampton etc to get to the event.

Unfortunately my family will never be attending Ribfest again due to the parking fiasco that took place this year.

half of parking for the event was used up by construction for the pan am games - there was no signs indicating that parking was prohibited - this was a charity event for the Rotary for a good cause and the police are using it to generate revenue - ticketing these people will drive them away from this charity event in the future

I spoke to the parking enforcement supervisor today and while i think he agreed with my concerns, once the ticket is issued you pretty well have to go to court. Everyone should be fighting this in court, I am. It was a complete set up since on the 29th they ticketed 116 cars and then let the ticketing continue into Canada Day! The city is making at least 20-30k. Why not put up signs then, since this was the accepted norm for years!

Ribfests raise needed money to help in the local community and around the world. Ticketing guests at the event is ridiculous.

Totally ridiculous ! We were told to park on the grass .. Then you get a 100$ ticket for a festival that you should of enjoyed with your family ! I could of just paid to go to wonderland .

All the help is great, Toronto Ribfest has been supporting us and looking for ways to invalid these tickets. I started this petition but I'm not really an expert too, I'm not sure what else we can do. Do you have any ideas? Thank you for you signature.
