Stop the Rhodora Annexation

We live three houses from the NW corner of the proposed Rhodora Annexation. The city of Lake Stevens allows lot sizes that are too small for the area with no sidewalks, no on street parking and lots that have almost no backyards. Additionally, there are few infrastructure improvements made by the city. This area is best served by remaining part of the county.

Please stop this unfair zoning to high density. Please restrict properties to 7200 sq feet as per county rules.

Im against the annexation... The traffic is already horrible. If I wanted to live in such a populated area I would have stayed in Lynnwood!!! This is horrible, it is making the once beautiful Lake Stevens one of the worst places to live.

In essence, this would add more congestion to an already congested area. The current green space creates an alleviation, especially when the neighborhoods on the other side of Machias Cutoff are taken into consideration. The proposed map only shows one side of the equation. No thanks!

309 119th Dr SE - I am strongly against this annexation and in particular any annexation that includes the issuing of ANY high density housing permits. Lake Stevens is already heavily lacking in its infrastructure. If you don't think so, just try leaving the area weekday mornings between 6 & 8 am, it's complete gridlock, adding additional housing, especially high density housing, will only make it that much worse. Until the city of Laker Sevens (and Snohomish county) start making real changes to our infrastructure, no new housing permits, especially high density, should approved.

I strongly protest this annexation. For tax reasons, septic vs. sewer mandates that may arise, as well as school zoning. We moved to this location last year and have transitioned our 3 kids to the Snohomish School District, we do not want to shake them up again!
