Celina Rezoning Request: Planned Development/Mixed Use Adjacent Preston Hills

Absolutely a terrible plan to have multi-family housing and mini storage facilities neighboring our long-established neighborhood.

My husband and I have enjoyed living here for almost 20 years. We oppose the water tower, the town homes, the self storage units and are concerned about the placement of the electrical substation. Please give our concerns some consideration!

There is plenty of space for commercial areas closer to Preston Road. Need to keep space next to other single family home residential areas zoned as same.

I strongly oppose Celina's request to Rezone the land adjacent to Preston Hills, our home, to Planned Development/Mixed use

I oppose high density housing and want to keep this area pretty i.e. trees, grassy and park like.

I am strongly opposed to having commercial or retail across the street from home. I did not move here to see my property values plummet. Thanks

It's already bad enough that Ross Perot Jr is developing over 400 homes across the way!

Please do not approve the rezoning request of the property adjacent to the Preston Hills subdivision. Approval of this tract will substantially lower the property values of homeowners that value a neighborhood feel. Multifamily homes and storage facilities do no fit there.

Not consistent with area at all. Do not approve re zoning.

Please listen to the residents that you represent.

Please change/remove the multi family plan, and the storage facilities. These are not appropriate uses of this area in the middle of single family and larger estate homesites.

Eliminate multi-family and town homes. Move water tower to the east where one currently exists. Allow only conditional use permits that require approval by city council with public inputs for any commercial use.

Keep high density, lower income housing West of Preston Road where it belongs. Don't put this stuff in the middle of our higher end housing subdivisions.

I support this petition. This is not the best location for a dense population.

This zoning change is out of place. There is no need and poor access for businesses in this area. It is likely to become an apartment area which will make it the most densely populated area in Celina.

I do not support this project. This is the wrong location for multi family, storage units, and retail.
