It much too late in the year for this!! School supplies alone are too expensive! This places an unnecessary burden on the families.

Focus of education, please, not the nuances of dress code. Every point in this petition makes sense.

I agree with some students not wanting to tuck in their shirts. You don't necessarily have to tuck a shirt to look nice and clean. It's been a really long time sense I've been a
freshman but I can remember the pep rallies could be pretty bad for us in the 70s. Of course we give it right back when we moved up in grades. Also, it is a little late to be making changes if one is financially challenged....who isn't these days.

This is ridiculous! Freshman should not be singled out & school spirit shirts were showing school spirit what happened to that. It's already bad they have to wear uniforms considering it's a public school not a private school.

if you really want this dress code change stop blaming the staff at ERHS, and start getting on to the school board. Mrs. Helton had very little to no say as to what the dress code is. So if you really want change make sure the county board sees this! As for the comment about bullying freshmen... I graduated last year, and I Would never even think about bullying a 14 or 15 year old that's already nervous about being in a new environment, and it's sad that people will make freshman MORE NERVOUS all so you can wear your spirit shirt on a Monday. And if you're that nervous about your body to tuck in your shirt get a bigger, baggy shirt! Also, in the new dress code it says nothing about only wearing a hoodieon Fridays, you can wear them any day you want to. So put on that polo you hate so much, put on your favorite ERHS hoodie, and make it through the year. Because I promise you can!

Ridiculousness. Why does it matter what color polo you ae wearing and why do freshmen have to wear a certain color all week?!
