Also the no dress code can also mean: Jeans, skirts with shorts inside any kind of shirts no belly bottomed and strapless shirt, dresses allowed, sweatpants allowed, shorts,........

No more dress code!!! East Ridge High should allow students to wear whatever they want. It makes us feel comfortable of who we are. I don't think that khaki and black and jeans will make the school better. They should allow to wear any kind of clothing.!!!!! Someone needs to do something against this!!!

To single out a specific grade is unjust, also a preppy dress code may seem dignified to the school system but, to students it is degrading and does not cater to how they feel, the school system is supposed to make there students feel safe and welcomed, not singled out, uncomfortable, and degrading. A dress code period is over the top. It's a school system not a dictatorship. Change the dress code for the better of the students.

Dear Powers that Be:
In a Hamilton County School system where some high schools have no uniform dress code at all, i.e. East Hamilton and CSAS, just to name two, it is completely unjust to even require ERHS students to have a uniform code at all either. What is good for the goose is good for the gander in a fair system where equality reigns.
Now you're singling out ERHS with an even more strict, ridiculous dress code where freshman can only wear a particular color, and burdening families who may not have the financial means for your last minute whims.
Ban the dress code all together or implement the same codes at all Hamilton County Schools. Justice for all.
I stand with the students and their families, and am super proud of the ERHS students who are speaking up and speaking out!

I feel like we should just keep the same dress code cause not everybody where polo shirts all they where is the east ridge shirts but i think its wrong that they trying to make the upcoming freshmens wear just navy blue school shirts why cant they just wear the same thing as we wear or why cant yall just keep same dress code as last year

I think they should Change the dress code... It's fine to have a dress code but to single out a specific grade expecially the freshmans is not a good idea and on top of that they changed it so close to the date that we have to be back in school and when I was a freshman it was already hard to try to make friends well except for the ones I had from 8th grade and this year I will be a junior and I feel bad for the freshman coming in because I just imagine all the drama we're going to have the school year and I feel like school should be a place you can have fun and also learn and not be worried about what you have on why you got to be singled out or why people are saying things about you just because your a freshman I mean is not nice but just to put it all out there people do it so I hope the dress code gets changed before Thursday when school start but most likely it won't but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed

Get rid of the Dresscode! It is not right how they are ruining the dress code. It is harder to find the gangs now! This dress code is outrageous. Please get rid of the dress code.
