Since this sem is going to be online, atleast all the hostel facilities such as mess, electricity, the internet, water, library, gymkhana etc charges should be removed from the fee structure..

In this pandemic situation institute must be aware of the financial and several other problems the parents are facing. And for paying so much high fees they have given 14 days. Really!!!

The fee in several heads is completely unjustified. Also as IIT Kgp forced to leave the students from campus, why they collecting fees for student amenities, internet and other head's which students are not using.

There's no way institute could arrange calling back all students at once. Even they start calling in batches after, it will be for sure end of the semester or more before everyone comes back. So, the mess charges, hall est. charges, etc. does not make any sense here.

I agree that the fee must be reduced since students and/or research fellows cannot avail hostel, mess or academic facilities for the entire semester.
