I have some serious problem to pay the fees in this current situation. My stipend will be remaining closed till the "extension". Two of my family members got cerebral attack in this lock down period where my uncle has met with a partial paralysis. I have to look after my family as well. And apart from this I have no words for IIT Kharagpur. The respect I had for this esteemed institute, have gone. I am very much disappointed for this type of behaviour of creating pressure in this crisis time. one more thing is that in normal time they give a one and half month of period to paid the fees. Now which is most expected is that the authority would give a minimum of 2 months window for this critical situation but here they have planned very steadily as they know students are not here, so they can't protest. Also they claimed students as their son and they are very concerned but simultaneously we should learn the art of snatching money from the beloved sons/daughters against a polished mail. I don't know what happened to IIT Kharagpur. They are just beyond the horizon. I have no words for them. Seriously I can't believe that I am also a part of this esteemed institution of the country. I feel ashamed for their concern.

Due to lock down our parents doesn't have any income sources because they are private employees. how can management ask us to bear that much fee burden in this situation? I request management to revise the fee accordingly because we are not staying in the hostels. my ID 19EE63R11

Since, this semester is going to be conducted in online mode the fees should be deducted accordingly. Reduction of merely 2000INR is not at all sufficient.
