I'm already paying rent and it's not cheap and the landlord won't give me any rent relief. The ban has affected not only my studies but also my life. Hopefully the ban will be lifted soon.

Hi all, By signing this petition I wish that The NZ gov. could re-evaluate the negative impact it has on not just the international education sector but also on its own economic development. I understand that NZ is a small country in terms of both land mass and population, and its medical supplies and human resources may not be sufficient to fight this new coronavirus. However, please DO NOT ignore the fact that this epidemic crisis is only temporary and NZ needs to attract global investments and establishments to support new jobs and fight against unemployment as well! Meanwhile, it is good to see the PM launched the $12B infrastructure upgrade across NZ in late Jan. but how do we fund such large projects and other unforeseen challenges it lies within when a lot of its tax payers are still in China? I personally really hope that PM Jacinda could follow the guidelines instructed by WHO, lift the ban and learn from PM Justin from Canada on how to tackle such issues.
