We, as parent of SC students, strongly demand school to reconsider the decision of shortening the school hours from 3-hour to 2.5-hour, when face-to-face classes resume on 25th March.
We believe cancellation of Tea Time may not necessarily result in school hours shortening, where substitute activities (e.g. playground time, homework session, etc) could be arranged to make up the time. School management may not be aware that how this sudden change in school hours affect parents' daily routine greatly, e.g. traffic in the morning. Especially for those working parents who intend to drop-off children to school before commuting to work; and those students taking nanny bus to school where they will be waiting outside while school gate won't open till 8.55am (instead of 8.25am).
Therefore, we're hoping school management would re-consider the decision in shortening the school hours as a results of the Tea Time cancellation, and wiling to listen to our petition.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you have joined this effort to restore our school hours. We are just a few signatures away from 100 which would be an incredible milestone that belongs entirely to this community. If you could send the link to just one or two other families today we might actually reach that goal together.

如果因疫情關係，沒有茶點相信大部分家長都會接受及贊成，原本的茶點時間，可安排其他活動；但如果是因為沒有茶點所以該段時間不需上課，從而縮短上課時間，相信沒有家長會接受，況且茶點時間只有2-5分鐘。 請學校考慮小朋友的健康同時，亦請顧及家長的難處，好多在職或兼職家長都是送完小朋友上校車或送回校後，急急忙忙趕上班，並不是每個家庭都有工人丶長輩支援。校方沒有向家長作出任何咨詢的情況下，一意孤行縮短上課時間，造成家長極大困擾。
Is it possible to cut off 1/6 school fee with effective on the coming thur ? If no, why cut off the school hour 1/6 without any discussion with parents
Appreciate school's quick reaction and initiation in protection our kids. However, such move causes great inconvenience to working parents and we believe the snack time can be of better use. Please re-consider the arrangement to provide biggest benefits to the kids. Thank you.
Please consider adding fun time, learning tome or playground time for kids to stay in school to maximize the physical learning opportunities. I vote for keeping the normal original schedule even if the tea time is removed.
Please consider the difficulty of working parents to adjust to a later school start time. The extra time can be better leveraged for student learning and engagement.
Suggest cancel snack time but keep the original school hours.

學費又唔見減！？ 點解難得有得上學，又話cut時間？ 平時茶點時間已經唔夠，小朋友一邊食茶點，一邊做課堂功課，而家還要cut時間？ 應該係提議家長，自行選擇，帶唔帶茶點！ 擔心的話，咪唔帶，唔食 強烈要求學校唔好大石砸死蟹，唔係學校鐘意點就點！！ 幼稚園唔單只教小朋友，亦都有託管意思 有唔少家長，送完小朋友上學，還有工作，或者其他任務 St cat係今次疫情，已經安排唔算好，識得拎政府津貼，補貼，叫家長共渡時間，又唔識持續減學費？ 明明學校上堂有成3小時，上zoom可以離譜到唔足夠兩小時，有時候居然只上20分鐘英文就當一日，都算數啦 而家又話cut茶點時間，平時茶點時間最多10分鐘，而家又扣半小時 學校玩哂啦
