Here is your opportunity to make a stand against Progress Energy and those officials who approved the 25% rate hike. Sign your name to this petition and join in the fight to have the approval of the rate hike reversed and to call for the resignation of the 5 officials with PCS who approved the hike. With so many of us out of work and with the economy the way it is for these people and this company to do this is appauling. We should not have to pay for Progress Energy to build a nuclear plant, that should come from the shareholders and not the customer! Let's all take a stand and have our voices heard!! NO RATE HIKE

I am a Progress Energy customer fed up with the constant increasing costs brought on by this company's greed. People are having to choose between eating and having heat all because this company wants to build a nuclear plant so they can make more money. The individuals who approved this hike need to be held accountable for their actions and poor decision making. Please help me to make a stand and present Progress Energy and PCS with this petition demanding the hike be reversed!
