Radio-Canada vient tout juste d'annoncer que l'émission DE TOUT CHŒUR sera supprimée de l'antenne d'ICI Musique. Cette émission était la seule émission canadienne francophone dédiée à la musique chorale.
Plus de 3,5 millions de canadiens chantent dans des chorales. Cela représente environ 10% de la population nationale. Unis ensemble, nous demandons le rétablissement de cette émission a l'antenne d'ICI Musique.

Choral Canada is the national voice of the Canadian choral community, representing and uniting a network of conductors, educators, composers, administrators, choral industry leaders, and more than 42,000 choral singers from coast to coast to coast. We know that Choral singing, an integral part of the Canadian cultural experience, has the power to build communities and transform lives.
Radio-Canada has just announced that ICI Musique will be cancelling the radio program DE TOUT CHŒUR. This was the only Canadian program in French dedicated to choral music.
Over 3.5 million Canadians sing in choirs. This represents around 10% of our National population. Together, we ask that the program be brought back to ICI Musique.

The silence from Radio-Canada remains absolute, but we are keeping the pressure up by sending direct correspondence to their programming directors. Email the station manager today to demand an explanation for this cancellation. Post the link to this petition on your Facebook wall so we keep the conversation moving.

Having a program devoted to choral music allows choir nerds like us to have a radio home. :)
10% of the population of Canada sings in a choir, according to the recent national choral census. Keep choral music on the radio!!!

Je trouve votre décision irrespectueuse et insultante pour le milieu choral, preuve que la SRC est déconnectée de ses auditeurs. Nous ne voulons pas d'une émission édulcorée, nous voulons le respect de cette formule qui plaisait et qui n'était pas au bout de ses découvertes.
Please do not cancel De tout chœur. Francophones, Anglophones and allophones alike, there are so many of us who enjoy listening to this program every week. Sunday morning would not be the same without it!
We NEED this show...and more like it! More Canadians sing in choirs than the population of the GTA!!!
J'ai déjà signé une autre pétition dans ce sens et écrit une plainte à Radio-Canada de cette suppression soudaine et inexpliquée d'une émission qui nous tient à "choeur" terriblement.

Choral Singing has become one of the hallmarks of Canadian culture. It is a crime that the outstanding achievements of Canadian ensembles should be increasingly diminished by a national Institution which claims to be the 'voice of Canada'. Please reconsider!
