Navan has a wonderful rich manufacturing tradition stretching back centuries with beautiful buildings that stretch down to the glorious Blackwater River. Help stop the dereliction and neglect of these historic buildings in our town now and create a museum quarter we can all feel proud of and showcase the arts, crafts, furniture manufacturing, weaving and other industries that made the town such a driving force for generations. Reclaim the past and recreate the future.

The momentum behind this proposal confirms that our community deeply values the preservation of the Mollies and the creation of a museum quarter. It is clear that many people share a vision for reclaiming our industrial history and ensuring these buildings contribute to a vibrant future.

The Mollies have been a disgrace for years. Its time to stop pretending they arent there and actually do something to fix up the riverfront before it all falls down.
It would be nice to shiw grandchildren there past as human beings we are always interested from wence we came.
This is a great idea. Museum with an art space and small group education facilities. Such an area should be cherished, the rivers and their buildings are one of the most beautiful parts of Navan, but they haven't been treated that way. Let's change that!
Great idea. Preserve the heritage of the town and remember the wonderful industry provided to the whole country and in the modern era, the reason Navan was on the map. It's our Axminister.....Yorkshire is so proud of its heritage and has done similar. Imagine seeing the area around the Mollies, thriving. Jobs, economic input and tourism for Navan.
It would be lovely to be able to walk along the river,small boats should be able to use it and a museum should most definitely be built there is a wonderful heritage in this county and the history in that area should not be lost ,it would also be marvelous to see the canal in use again it has been achieved in other places

Used to work near there back in the day. Would love to see it cleaned up instead of the eyesore it is now. Bring some pride back to the town!
