With the way things are happening in our world today, I think we all need a little of our own history to look back on. If the store is torn down, then the people that is destroying our southern heritage will have won and we just sat back and watched. For once stand up and be counted!

I remember when this was Windrow Grocery and my grandaddy would take my brother and me there to pick out candy. Needs to be preserved. Too many places like this are gone forever. It's part of our small town southern legacy.

I grew up in rockvale about 2 miles from this store and i remember when i was just a kid and Jesse Leathers was still running it, the trash center can be put anywhere there is already a dump across the road!!!
