I have lived in Rockvale all my life and no matter what condition that store is in compared to what it used to be it is still practically a well known and loved landmark to all of those who actually live in Rockvale and know of this store. There is absolutely NO need to expand the dump that is across the street from it. The ONLY time that dump is overcrowded or has a backed up line is when people don't know how to properly park their vehicles to unload their trash and none of the people that work there ever direct them how to park properly to keep the flow of vehicles moving. Even if a new one were needed there is still NO need to tear that store down. There would be MORE than enough room across the street to add onto the dump without having to tear down that store.

As a part of the Rockvale community and as a history buff, I would absolutely love to see this store restored and back to it's full former glory!!

This store is and always be part of my childhood. It is a part of history. It needs to be restored. Leaving as much history as possible. The Carltons made that a place to remember. I'm going to pray that is stays a part of Eaglevilles history.

I was born and raised in the Rockvale area..was the last 8th grade class at Rockvale School many years ago..This store has always been a part of my childhood memories..wood floors on barefeet..moon pies and RC..my Pawpaw.

This landmark is the central part of what makes Rockvale what it is! Restore it to its former glory and keep it in tact. Rockvale would not be Rockvale without it!
