People can hardly exit the Blackhawk subdivision as it is; this will make it even more difficult and dangerous. This is not responsible city planning.

Pleasantview Road from Old Sauk to Highway 14 is extremely dangerous as it is, adding more traffic by way of a high-density apartment development, at an already bad area of that road is irresponsible. Not only will the addition of the apartments create traffic congestion, cause more traffic to "drive-through" through the Blackhawk neighborhood, it will most certainly cause traffic accidents on a road that is severely in need of improvements. Before any additional building is considered, Pleasantview Road needs to be upgraded to accomodate more traffic and safeguards (turn lanes, traffic lights, improved shoulder, etc.)

A high density project like this would only add more problems to the already dangerous nad over populated area and intersection at Blackhawk Rd. & Pleasantview. Also the drive though traffic on Swallowtail and other Blackhawk streets would be detrimental to the safety of children. YOu need to address the issues at that intersection now before you could even possible consider adding more traffic there.

This proposed development would only further complicate the intersection of Blackhawk Rd and Pleasant View Rd. This intersection is already overcrowded and dangerous. This development is too dense and should not be considered until improvements are made to Pleasant View Rd.
