On behalf of the Tibetans in-land Tibet and in exile, I humbly request singer 50 cent to kindly take down the controversial picture he very recently posted on Instagram; a meme using a photo of a Tibetan martyr self-immolating in New Delhi, India on March 26, 2015 for the cause of Tibetan freedom. We feel that this Instagram post is offensive and disrespectful against our struggle for freedom. 50 Cent may be unaware of what is happening inside Tibet and how much this particular post offended so many Tibetans and friends of Tibet but after all the requests people made below the post, no expected step has been taken by him.

The volume of support has secured us a meeting with representatives from the relevant human rights organizations to discuss a formal delivery strategy. We are now drafting a letter to the artist's management team to outline the historical significance of the image and the necessity of its removal.

Hi fitty, as your homies are wont to say, you always brag about how you survived being shot and then you laugh at people who self immolates themselves so others could survive/live in freedom and peace. You owe an apology if you didn't know better

50 Cent may be one of many artists who don't really care about respecting tragic events around the world, but profiting off other people's suffering and death is especially classless.

Just because he has a good life and has a country to call home he does not get the right to disrespect the struggle of the Tibetans. Tibetans has been long been fighting for there independence in any way as they can. Instead of trying to help the Tibetans with the struggle this is what a well known artist does. It is so shameful to have such a talent go to waste by being so inconsiderate of others feeling.

This is so insulting, He hurt the sentiments of Tibetan people and other people who supports the freedom movement of Tibetan. He should withdraw picture from his Instagram and should apologize. I assure that I am not going to hear his music.

The people of Tibet have the inherent GOD-given rights to be treated as full-fledged human beings, happy and free on their ancestral lands, and to not be persecuted by the Chinese Authorities or any other outside force.
