After numerous years of poor decision making, bad management and false dawns the population of Upper Rissington formally asks the remaining councillors step down with immediate effect and give fresh blood a chance.

The stories coming out of our neighborhood reveal a deep and painful loss of trust in those currently holding office. I am meeting with local representatives to demonstrate just how many of us have finally had enough of the status quo.

The groundswell of support is proving that I am not the only one exhausted by the mismanagement in our village. It is becoming impossible for the council to ignore that their time in office has run its course.

About time these people moved on and let us have some proper representation in the village. Sick of the constant arguments and nothing ever getting done.
We need councillors that will spend money on the village so get off the council and let someone else run it for a change.
We need new fresh ideas councillors who are going to work for the Upper Rissington community
It is about time that we had a full, functional council working for all of Upper Rissington, a council of the people for the people. We are facing many challenges and are sadly currently hamstrung by having a council with little if any support from within the community. This situation is mainly due to a lack of mutual trust created by the actions of the rump of the current council itself. Give our village a real chance to create a council fit and able to see us all through these challenging times and to create a vibrant forward looking community .
It seems like it is time for change and some positive energy to flow through our village
They should do the right thing and surrender control of the PC and resign

The groundswell of support is proving that I am not the only one exhausted by the mismanagement in our village. It is becoming impossible for the council to ignore that their time in office has run its course.

Think we need to move forward as a whole village and have the opportunity to have a fully functioning parish council with all seats filled. I am fed up with the blame culture that has evidently thrived in the parish council. Time to draw a line and move forward with an election and give the village a chance to vote for people who they feel would best serve our community in this position of trust. This is an amazing village, but we need the full support of a transparent working council. No more missed and late notice cancellations of meetings. If all seats are filled, meetings can still go ahead with a majority of councillors present. Would like to say thank you for current councillors and their dedication to serving, but believe the democracy is the fresh start the village needs.
