We, the undersigned people of Swindon have no confidence in the current conservative led council and it's leader David Renard, to efficiently and democratically run or manage the Borough of Swindon in the interests of the people, and hereby request that David Renard stand down with immediate effect and that the council call an early local election.
I started this because I was frustrated but I never imagined so many other people felt the exact same way. This momentum belongs to all of you who decided that things need to change in our town. Thank you for showing me that I am not alone in wanting better for Swindon.

With the council tax rises and the poor effort he gave the residents of Wichelstowe about parking restrictions, then moving us residents to a parish we did not want it's time he stood down.

Completely out of order for SBC to transfer services they are responsible to the parishes who then increase taxes to the public pay for them..... Very underhand way to get around the council tax caps on tax rises.

After the North Swindon 4g internet fiasco and now the unfair council tax increase for Haydon Wick residents I have lost confidence in the council making decisions which are fair for all residents.

SBC did not consulted widely on the Community Governance Review, failed to listen to the Residents and don't understand how the new Management Companies work on new housing developments under SBC planning policy, where residents pay twice for one service to look after the open spaces.

The Tory councillors are arrogant and dismissive of the rights of voters in the town. They deliberately held back from rising Council tax for years just to get re-elected, and allowed the town's assets and services to be run down. They should be ashamed, but they're not at all.

Council tax rise is a disgrace bearing in mind the drop in the council's provision of local services. The council also has a total disregard for local sport - hiking up prices to hire pitches and yet offering a lesser service at the same time.
