Lennar is building a tiny, low-cost, hardy-plank home in the Jordan Ranch model home park. This low-cost house is clearly in violation of deed restrictions for this neighborhood; including the requirement to have an all masonry front of the house.

If this shack-style home is for another section of the community, it needs to be relocated to the other section. It is clearly out of place, and out of compliance.

If this is allowed to continue, it will destroy the value of our homes, and attract a bunch of problems for this community. Please express your opposition to this situation. If expressing our opposition doesn't work, we will need to take legal action.

Updates

February 13, 2018

Lennar continues to ignore our deed restrictions while moving forward with this construction. Call their local office today to demand they move this project to a site that matches its building materials. We are gathering documentation for legal counsel so keep sending me your photos of the site.

February 13, 2018

The traction we have gained shows that our neighbors refuse to accept these violations in Jordan Ranch. Go to the Lennar project office today and demand they stop construction on this non-compliant structure. Email your local HOA board members right now to demand they enforce our deed restrictions.

The model home for Lennar was built next to a Westin model that is approximately double or triple in value. And yes looks completely out of place

Houses like Lenar are not the community we were pitched and sold on. The house looks cheap!! It doesn’t fit the neighborhood feel and i can’t believe Johnson Development is allowing this at all! We bought here for the look, feel, small town type amenetirs in a beautiful neighborhood.

This cheap home ahould not be allowed. It will bring down the value of the homes around it. This needs to stay a brick only community.

UPDATE FROM JOHNSON DEVELOPMENT: From: Steve Sams Date: Tue, Feb 13, 2018 at 8:47 AM Subject: RE: Johnson Development Corp. :: Contact Us To: "[email protected]" Good Morning Jonathan, My apologies for the delay in response, I’m in the middle of a bout with the flu. First things first, siding was used on the Lennar model in error. Lennar quality control noticed the mistake on Friday and is already making plans to remove it and replace with an approved material. The new program in Jordan Ranch features 2 builders, Lennar and David Weekley. The Lennar product line is projected to start in the $220,000’s and the Weekely line in the $250,000’s. This is very similar to the starting price points for our current builder Plantation Homes which starts in the $230,000’s. These product lines is already available in several other Johnson Development communities including Sienna Plantation and Harmony. If you have any other questions please let me know. Thank you, Steve Steve Sams Vice President and General Manager Jordan Ranch by Johnson Development Corp. [email protected] www.johnsondevelopment.com

Better houses

This Lennar model home clearly does not abide with the deed. It sticks out like a sore thumb and devalues the current homes. I bought my home for a long-term investment and it doesn't look good for the future.
