Reguradless of how many taxi services we have, it's not enough! Uber creates jobs and helps the community! Please, PLEASE allow Monroe to hop on the Uber train!

I do not understand why anyone would question the benefits that companies like Uber and Lyft can bring to out area. Nearly everyone out after dark who isn't getting off work is either drinking or going somewhere to get a drink. DUI numbers here are so high and our taxi service is abysmal. We have drive through liquor stores, but 0 reasonable options for a sober ride. If you want to save lives and support a responsible citizenry, let us have Uber.

Uber is fantastic and Monroe should definitely be allowed to join cities with Uber drivers. Can't imagine the argument against. Taxi service here is embarrassing.

Cab service is not dependable in Monroe. It is also exspensive. Just In Time taxi charged me $40 to go 10 miles from ULM to Frenchman's Bend.

Let this happen in Monroe/West Monroe area. I think it's time to get rid of the crappy taxi services and bring revenue back to the twin cities. Quit relying on DUIs to fund the city!
