The city council continues to drag their feet while this surge of support proves that Monroe is ready for modern transportation. They can ignore the reality of our needs for only so long before they have to face the truth.

With an employment background in the Monroe hotel industry, I can vouch for the horrendous services provided by the lackadaisical taxi companies in town. Uber is greatly needed!
This would be so great to have here! More people would be more apt to eating out and going to our local bars knowing that all they have to do is get an uber!! On top of it, MORE JOBS!!
Asa resident of Monroe, and a frequent visitor or local restaurants and bars, I am in favor of ride sharing coming to Monroe. I would go out more if we had this service. The current taxi situation is toxic and inadequate. I have personally been taken advantage of by all of the local taxi companies. Ride sharing brings accountability.
We need Uber. We need safe transportation to end violent drunk driving deaths. We need safe transportation for our disabled community. We need safe transportation for our out of town visitors. We need the progress that Uber brings. It creates new jobs and could easily bring more businesses to our town. Please. Please push us forward.
This service is badly needed in Northeast Louisiana. Our current transportation services are unreliable and citizens could really appreciate an easy opportunity to make extra money on the side. Please consider this proposal.
We definitely need these companies operating here.
Why stay stuck in the Stone Age? This gives the community alternative means of transportation across this community in a safe lean environment. This isn't "Yellow Cab" or "DC Cab!" This is a great opportunity!

I used Uber in Sarasota Florida last year while visiting my daughter and it was wonderful!! Safe and efficient. Wait time less than 10 minutes for rides. Used Uber 4 times in Sarasota.
