This is a petition to remove the gun range out of a residential town of Byers TX, 76357. Byers is a very small town the population not even close to 700 people yet there is a gun range in a residential house's backyard. The backyard's gun range is held up by railroad ties and logs with holes and little places where a bullet could easily get through and injury or even kill someone. Another problem with this so called "gun range" is that behind the house and houses to the left side, children run around and play. With this gun range having holes in the foundation where the guns are shot it could easily cause injury to a innocent child who was playing outside. Not only is this gun range not safe for the small town and the houses around it, there is not a proper parking lot. If there was a medical emergency no one could get to the house, due to the road being blocked by the customers cars and trucks. Therefore no one could get the medical attention that they needed in time. Also our own president is talking about school shootings, neighborhood shootings, and kids having/getting a hold of guns. How we as a nation need to stop this violence and help prevent this from happening yet we have a gun range in the town with children running around who could walk into the back of the range at anytime.
