RESCUE OUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN EGYPT AND UGANDA!
The government of Kano State under Dr. Rabi'u Musa Kwankwaso, as part of its effort to empower Kano youths so that they may contribute effectively and efficiently to the development of their State and the country at large, sponsored a number of students to universities abroad to study various fields of endeavour.
Among these students are fifty (50) nurses who were sent to Mansoura University in Cairo, Egypt and about one hundred (100) others who were sent to Uganda. Today, those who were sent to Uganda have completed their studies, but Kwakwaso's successor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has failed, refused, refused or ignored to transport them back home. The 50 nurses sent to Egypt have now spent about two years there and now have only few months to go. But the government of Kano State which has earlier stopped their salaries and was paying them allowances suddenly stopped the payment of their allowances. These students are now left to suffer untold hardships in foreign countries. They have been turned into International Beggars because neglect the Kano State Government under Ganduje.
1. This is a wanton abuse of Ganduje's declaration that he would build on Kwakwaso's legacy;
2. It is a waste of the huge amount of money already spent on these students
3. It is a waste of the talent of these industrious sons and daughters of Kano state whose contribution to the state, both in the past and the future, cannot be underestimated;
4. This is a source of great international embarrassment to our dear nation, Nigeria.
We should not let this government continue punishing and torturing our brothers and sisters only for agreeing to go and study in foreign land so that they may better our lives. We must not let Ganduje to continue causing country international embarrassment.

I honestly did not think this would gain this much steam but look at us now. It feels like people are finally starting to pay attention to the fact that these students are out there starving while the state just watches. I am overwhelmed by the reach this has gotten because honestly I was worried everyone would just scroll past.

One of the fifty nurses at mansoura university Egypt. The government is owing us 6 months allowances eqauting $300 per month totalling $1800. We are also yet to be paid our utility bill which totale $3400 per each student. PLEASE COME TO OUR RESCUE!!!!!!!!!
We were left here in egypt stranded, our utility is diverted and we spent more than 5 months with out feeding allowances.
Let this government think over this issue and react positively, we voted for change but this was no near the change we voted for pls.
We are here for about 4 month suffering because our feeding allowance was not being given, and our salary was stopped unnoticed and utility bill was be approved by previous government but up to date not being given, and there is illegal deductions of #100000 for the past six months feeding allowance times two ( #100000/ 6 month × 2 ) Please rescue us @50Nurses@mans, we are on desperate situation.
I'm Part of the victims of the situation, we are seriously in need of help (no food, no money to buy electricity, water and health bills ) please help rescue fifty nurses sponsored by kano state government at Mansoura, it seems like state government has failed.
Kindly pay them salary and allowances.

Let our governor ganduje pay Students at Egypt and Uganda the way he paid students of hassan gwarzo.
