The feedback I have received from many of you captures a shared exhaustion that goes beyond a single course. I am currently working to organize our collective concerns into a formal document to present to the department because your accounts of the mounting workload need to be taken seriously.

Reaching this level of support confirms that the frustration regarding the sudden workload is shared by many of us. Seeing so many peers acknowledge the strain on our wellbeing provides a necessary sense of clarity as we move forward.

I don't think that's fair for student still need to hand in their assignment during the exam period. Because the strike, we miss lots of Classes. I can't say anything we still have an exam, but I'm strongly disagree we still need to hand in assignments after study term. Now, student pay back for the strike but who pays back for the student???
it is not acceptable to give out assignment at the end of the term and expects us to finish it during exam period

Why didn't she post it earlier if we had to complete these assignments! She cannot just throw these to us!

She simply announced her decision on the assignment any refused doing a class vote on it. In one of my other courses which a lot more students were enrolled we were given the right to vote on any changes to the course. It is reasonable that she didn't want to give us free marks, but she even refused a redistribution of the 12%. She said if she had to gave up on the assignment she would doubt why she was there teaching the course, but indeed half of the course was not taught. This is simply UNFAIR to us. We didn't want the strike, why should we take this consequence brought by the strike? It is just unreasonable to have new assignment in April!
