Request to Wirral Borough Council to improve unsafe underpasses in New Ferry

It's a disgrace same as further down bypass by Mayfields.

I live at elmbank road and when I walk of a night from my mum with my youngest son I feel very scared like I could be robbed etc so I have to walk the long way round which takes an extra 10/15 mins

Walking under here on a night time is scary

Please provide lighting

Just do it it’s a joke just dig deep

Absolutely terrible subway to walk through and I am not surprised people feel very vulnerable and weary entering it

My sister uses the beaconsfield road underpass to go to the ferry hut now walks the long way round as it is no longer safe due to dirt overgrown and badly lit.

Please fix for safety!!!

Both subways are awful, glass, smells, graffiti etc. I never feel safe walking through them even during the day.

Needs something doing. This is disgrace. No one is bothered. Where is the MP, or even the councilors.

The underpass has not been updated since the 90’s . If it was in Heswall it would have been cleaned and maintained .

This has been neglected for years making it unsafe to walk through at night

I live opposite the subway it is a disgrace no lights for six years health and safety risk at its worst cant see were you are walking or if you stand and slide in dog poo and if anyone is there to hurt you its appalling no one cares iv tried and tried its a ses pit weeds and dirt everywere needs to be sorted asap good luck with this !!
