In 1998 a company that provided flight cases for Yes' tours in the early 1970s discovered reels of live Yes recordings in cases that were in storage since that era. These included performances recorded throughout 1972, including some of which ended up in YESSONGS. In all over a dozen reels were found, and included some of the last performances with Bill Bruford on drums before he left the group to join King Crimson. This petition is to request that Yes and Rhino Records (who would own the rights as part of WEA) release these recordings as they provide an important historical document of Yes' performances from that era.
