‘Let It Be’ is an important document in the Beatles’ and rock music’s history. The Beatles had the foresight to film themselves being their real selves in front of the camera, for hours on end, during a 30-day session. This produced an incredible archive of material; hours and hours of video and audio footage which captures their essence in a way no book or testimonial can possibly reproduce.
Since then, we have enjoyed and supported the official release of songs from this film through various products – like ‘Let It Be’, ‘Let It Be Naked’, the ‘Anthology Vol. 3’ CD and via remastered footage which was included in ‘Anthology’.
Well, we are here to tell you: we like what we have seen of ‘Let It Be’ over time, and we can’t wait until we have a complete, definitive release of this film. All these years, we have faithfully waited for an official DVD release of this amazing product.
The world is ready! Your fans are ready! We want to see this documentary as you originally envisioned it.
Thus, it is our intention to respectfully petition the surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr; their company, Apple; the estates of John Lennon and George Harrison and all other interested parties to please, facilitate the release of the movie and expanded versions of the audio material recorded for the film. We encourage you to share it, uncut and complete, with all the extras, features and documentaries that you can possibly conceive.
Beatles: believe us when we tell you, we won’t stop loving you because of what we see! Quite the opposite.

Apple continues to ignore the massive archive they are sitting on while fans are forced to settle for low resolution bootlegs. I am tired of the silence from the estates and the band regarding why this definitive documentary remains locked away in a vault. We are not going away until they stop gatekeeping our musical history.

It's been such a long time. I saw this in a theatre when it was first released. I remember crying a little and realizing my more than human heroes were just humans in the end. It's a big missing piece in the cinematic history of rock and roll.
Every movie by The Beatles has been re-released in Modern HD and with amazing packaging. "Let It Be" deserves this as well! Since it is a movie that actually shows The Beatles creating an album, the packaging should be the best of all 6 movies!!
The "Let It Be" movie, along with the rooftop gig of 1969, is the missing link for every beatle fan. It should be released, because it shows the band in their final days and will give us a glimpse of their working process.
I own a bootleg DVD of this film! No Beatles collection is complete without this film, which has not seen commercial release since videotape in the early 1980s. This lifelong Beatles fan would love to own a legitimate copy of it ... and soon!
The importance of this event to Beatles fans and Rock music lovers cannot be understated. This is also the last we see of them, together, from their long career. Help us honor them properly, warts and all.
Let it be is a masterpiece and show be released everywhere
A Blu Ray release of this film would make my life complete. This is LONG overdue.

No matter personal differences and periodical bad atmosphere, the end product is a work of art, very good on its own terms, often a favorite of mine, actually. It's a shame it's not yet available - in pristine DVD quality. Please publish!
