I don't have CVEC but when I was late paying a bill one time. Dommion Power hit me with a $500 deposit that they held for a year sure wish they had someone with comon sense like these two ladies helping there customers.

This is absurd. We have all struggled with bills at one point or another. To fire two individuals for simply caring is insane! Maybe if your rates weren't through the roof, people wouldn't even have this issue!

was done the same way by CVEC December 11,2011 two weeks before Christmas. The present of this company could care less about what a good job you do because it's all about the money figures. It's cheaper for him to out source customer service than to pay all the ladies he has working in the different divisions. He has already out sourced taking all of the mailed payments and most of the power outage phone calls. So now he has started cutting back on the ladies in the offices. I had the pleasure of working with Lesley and Kelly for years. They did a wonderful job and knew their job completely and were excellent customer service representatives.

This is so sad! How do u fire someone for helping out others. These ladies helped out our community and are like family! The peope who fired them are dumb and i guess have never had hard times! I love you ladies!

I am outraged as a CVEC customer to learn of the termination of these two beautiful, caring, and compassionate individuals. I will do everything in my power to see that their jobs are reinstated. As a community we need to "Rally" around these two ladies. They are two indviduals who know other's struggles and try to help in any capacity they can.

As a local customer and business owner I can not see the reasoning for terminating such good employees. People make mistakes and in people I mean the person who let go of two such good employees. CVEC should reinstate them to their positions and backpay them for the time they have lost.

Leslie Haga and Kelly had no legitiment reason to be fired. After 17 years of awesome service this needs to be reviewed and the "3week" manager needs to be he one who's fired!

They have always been nothing but helpful whenever I have needed assistance. Great customer service is very hard to come by these days. Please reconsider your decision.

I suppose loyalty only goes one direction in today's world? Why would you fire women who obviously have been great customer service reps? Sounds like they were loyal employees that wasn't given the benefit of a loyal employer. Did a board member have family who needed a job?
