SUBJECT: ELIMINATION OF THE SUBMISSION OF INTERNSHIP DIARY
Respected Ma’am
With due honour we the students of Semester X (Batch 2015-2020) would humbly like to draw your attention to the fact that according to our syllabus for the given semester we are supposed to submit our internship diary.
However, due to the outbreak of the pandemic a lot of us were unable to carry the materials gathered during the internship along with the internship diary to our respective houses. It is further to be noted that according to the State Government Notification No: 378-EH/1U-37/2020 (paragraph c) 20% weightage of the total marks shall be carried on the basis of assignment based evaluation; we have already submitted our moot memorials for 3 consecutive semesters (VII, VIII, X) and have given moot presentations for two consecutive semesters (VII, VIII) which comprises of 30 marks.
We would thus humbly like to request you to eliminate the submission of the internship diary for this semester due to unavoidable circumstances. We shall be highly grateful to you for the same.

Seeing so many of my classmates join this effort feels like a massive weight lifting off my shoulders. We are all feeling the same pressure of these lost materials and this response confirms we are right to ask for a better path forward.

Students like us who stays in hostel/PG/mess, could not collect any document to take with us while we were heading back to our respective houses. Considering this situation if we are asked to show our internship certificates, we will be unable to comply with that.
In this pandemic situation it will be difficult for us to physically submit our internship diary ,moreover there are a number of students who reside outside of Darjeeling Distrct , there is transportation scarcity all over and there also remains chance of risk to be infected while transpoting through public vehicle....moreover there a students who left their internship diary in the hostel and now the hostel won't be opened until 31st july. So,for the larger interest of the students i am conveying my concerns in this regard and signing this petition.
Pertaining to the severe difficulties faced by the majority of the students, the authorities should be kind enough to consider the demands of the students.
Considering the rate of rising COVID-19 positive cases in Siliguri, it is very much risky even for the residents to go to the Department to buy or submit the Internship Diary. It is our humble request to do the needful.
It's a humble request for the elimination of the internship diary.
We could thus humbly like to request to you to eliminate the submission of internship diary

During this Pendamic everyone is facing financial burden, over that if the extra burden of buying another internship diary that to by paying additional courier charges will give extra burden to the head member of the family. Therefore I request to do the needful.
