The committee has confirmed that the EGM is officially happening. I am honestly stunned by how quickly things turned around once you all put your names to this request. This was never about me because it was your collective resolve that made them listen.

Due to recent decisions made by the committee of Greenhills Boys FC, the parents and senior members of the club are requesting an E.G.M with the committee. This is to facilitate an open discussion where parents and senior members can become familiar with the reasoning behind these recent decisions.
This petition has come about after previous request for information made by parents and senior members for clarifications regards these decisions have gone unanswered.

I am honestly a bit overwhelmed that two hundred and fifty people have put their names to this request. This really belongs to all of you who felt the same frustration and decided to speak up.

If there is a reasonable explanation, there should be no hassle answering questions. It says alot that a petition is needed to get answers. Its a community sport that should be kept simple and fun without the drama. Fair play to anyone giving their time for the community. Absolutely awful to put long time volunteers in such a situation.
Im 38 years old and ever since ive been 10 or 11 ive known alan to be at greenhills. To let him go would not be right. Alan lives and breathes football.
I support the request for an egm. The club should be under the control of the committee which are directed by the members wishes not by their own volition. I also propose that the rules and constitution of the club are freely available on the club's website and in print.
This was a very unprofessional decision solely based on questions that were asked about club funds, thelesst they deserve is the questions answered and an explanation after dedicating so many years to the club.
With no explanation as to why the managers were dismissed from duty and no correspondence from parents emails, I 100% request an EGM.
E.G.M needed to get some clarity.

What are the committee hiding by no meeting and answering questions that should be answered.
