We, the undersigned parents and representatives of Savages FC, hereby submit this formal petition to bring to your urgent attention a series of concerning incidents involving Collegians FC that occurred on 31 May 2025 and 1 June 2025.
These incidents have not only disrupted the approved fixtures sanctioned by the Local Football Association (CASS) but have also involved unacceptable behaviour towards our young players.
Specifically, we wish to highlight the following issues:
1. Interference with Official Fixtures: Collegians FC has unlawfully interfered with fixtures approved and
scheduled by the Local Football Association, disrupting the integrity of the league and the development of the children involved.
2. Verbal Abuse and Badmouthing of Kids: There have been multiple reports of Collegians FC officials and players verbally abusing and bad-mouthing young players from Savages FC, creating a hostile and intimidating environment.
3. Physical Threats and Bullying: Instances of physical threats and bullying behaviour by Collegians FC members towards our children have been observed and reported, raising serious concerns about the safety and well-being of our young athletes.
4. Disrespectful and Arrogant Attitude: Collegians FC appears to believe they have an exclusive right to use the football fields without permission, displaying a sense of entitlement that undermines the authority of the Collegians Club.
These actions are not only unacceptable but also undermine the principles of sportsmanship, respect, and fair play that our children are taught and that should be upheld by all.
We, the parents and representatives of Savages FC, respectfully request that the Collegians Club Executive Committee take immediate and decisive action to ensure that such incidents do not recur and that our children can play in a safe, respectful, and fair environment.
Furthermore, we respectfully request assurance from the Collegians Club that going forward, all activities involving young players will be conducted in a safe, respectful, and child-friendly environment, free from intimidation, threats, and misconduct.
We trust that the Collegians Club values the development and well-being of young players and will act swiftly to address this serious matter.
Henry is compromising the wellbeing of our lucky legs. This might also compromise our home games and the status of the Savages FC to CASS.

I therefore support the submission made to protect our kids against abuse, attitudes, disrespectful conducts. These conducts will undermine the growth and development interventions to make our young kids to be better citizens of the country.

This has been an ongoing problem for years. Collegians FC does not have any junior teams within their ranks. How do insist on saying they have the juniors at heart when do things like this. They are just a social team that is not linked to any LFA.

As a parent of the Savages FC I am appalled to hear about the recent incidents that took place this past weekend. This kind of behaviour is deeply troubling and goes against the values we expect from a youth sports environment. I sincerely hope that the club’s management will take serious precautions and firm action to ensure that nothing like this happens again. All children deserve to play in a safe and respectful environment, and it’s vital that we set the right example both on and off the field.
