The circumstances are not conducive to optimal performance and may hinder the student from attaining their full potential.

Having the e-assessments now is completely unrealistic, we haven’t been in school since Feb 28th. It’s been over a month of distance learning. We are severely underprepared and at a disadvantage. Not to mention the toll this situation has taken on students and their mental healths. If the MYP board truly cared for student wellbeing, they would offer a less stressful alternative.

All curriculums in Dubai have cancelled their exams even DP exams have been cancelled. We've been living in unfair conditions for over a month and our learning has been greatly interrupted.

I think it is a fair choice to cancel MYP assessments for may 2026. They create lots of pressure on the students during these stressful times.

Due to the prolonged disruption to in-person learning and the shift to online school, continuing with the MYP exams would not be fair or equitable for all students. These circumstances have impacted both our preparation and well-being. We respectfully ask for an alternative assessment approach that better reflects our actual performance.

us year 11s have been in distance learning since early March. Jumping straight into high-stakes eAssessments just two weeks after returning is seen as unfair, especially since we didnt have consistent in-person support.
