To whom it may concern,
In light of recent emails from the Board of Directors of the Roosevelt Island Swim Club as well as the Head Coach, I support the request for a Special Membership Meeting prior to the election date of May 22nd, 2018. We are particularly concerned about investigations, especially when they involve people like Frank who come to the pool to video our kids.

When the board begins inviting strangers with no qualifications onto the pool deck while kids are practicing with a camera to "investigate" I must question whether decisions are being made in the best interest of our kids.
As a recently returned parent to the club I'm saddened by what appears to be disharmony within the club. AT the end of the days its the kids who lose and the small the great swim community becomes fractured and awkward. I don't presume to know any of the facts but would definitely support a pathway forward where grieveances can be constructively aired and maybe independent arbitration party be involved to listen and work through the issues of all parties and bring the team back together. Please for the sake of the kids.

I think it'd be helpful if the swim team's board held a special meeting before the elections to clarify what is going on (re: their recent confusing/alarming emails and activities)

We need to know what kind of investigation they are doing and about what and what is the relation between the investigation and the vote.
