As the mother of a grade 8 student, at this level, marks matter and we want to teach out children that hard work pays off. We, as tax paying citizens have a right to receive marks for our children.

Our kids and us parent need the report card so that we can spend time with our kids to help them improve for the next grade. Other boards on strike are releasing report cards so WRDSB Elementary teachers should too

Other boards have found a way to release the grades - WRDSB should do the same. The kids have worked hard to earn their marks - don't keep them hostage!
Education should be deemed an essential service with teachers having no right to strike and withhold education.

This is unacceptable. Parents have the right to see how their children have done during the school year and what they might need to improve on. This is also unfair to the children, some work very hard during the school year to make their parents proud.

We as parents have the right to a report card as do our children!!! So we can see how well there doing things that need improving on.I am angry by this as this should be mandatory!!!! UNACCEPTABLE!!!

Report card writing is part of the job requirements under the Education Act, it is not supposed to be a work to rule withdrawal item!!!!!!!!!

If I provided this kind of service to my customers, I would lose my job! Our students are the teacher's customers - give them the respect they deserve and stop using them as pawns in your silly games!
