Terrible decision. If he turned up with a John 10:16 banner, no eyelids would have been batted. Surely the stupidity of this ban has been highlighted by the UN ruling yesterday.

Galway United, there are all manner of banners and signage at all football matches. It is disgraceful that you have banned this supporter from matches for holding a banner, regardless of whether you agree or disagree with its content. And as for the excuse of having alcohol, how ridiculous, there's many a bottle of beer drank at your matches, you can't ban everyone. Height of stupidity.
