I will not tolerate anymore being treated like an animal. I am tired of falling in line and being muzzled every time the cdc changes it’s mind. Lord have mercy upon us as our faith is so weak that we trust cloth more than his promise of eternal life.

I struggle to see any valid argument for masking at this point. The covid rules are shockingly inconsistent-- it's transparent that this decision wasn't made with any scientific backing, but is mainly a PR stunt. How much COVID-19 money is CUW basing this decision off of? My guess is quite a bit. I'm also deeply saddened to see the speed at which personal freedoms are discarded by my school. Every day I see CUW's policies I am less proud to call myself and alumni.

The masks being forced upon students on campus propogate an anti-Christian culture of fear. Adults can make smart decisions based on Scripture with scientific thinking as a subservient tool, not the other way around.

It’s dangerous to partake in using CUW students as a political pawn in a debate that is nonsensical and not supported by science. Studies supporting the use of masks have been unable to determine their effectiveness in preventing infection. We cannot teach our young people to be driven by fear and political theater. We owe our children better!

With online classes readily available there’s no reason for a mask mandate. If you’re that concerned you can take virtual/remote classes.
