Masks obviously didn’t work last cold and flu season as the cases went up after mask mandate. Stop the madness!

I only got vaccinated so that I wouldn’t have to wear a mask this fall, as promised.

I am a parent of a college student at Concordia. We can decide what is best for our young adult/student. Stop restricting their capability of getting fresh air.

This is absolutely ridiculous at this point. Our county is not requiring masks, Wisconsin Lutheran College isn’t either and they’re in Milwaukee. This is a poorly-made decision by the administration and I hope they will rethink their decision before people start dropping out due to their absurd policies. Concordia is supposed to be different than the government run public schools but we are anything but living uncommon by giving in to the pressure of the elites who think they can run our lives better than the individual can. People should have the freedom to decide to wear a mask or not, plain and simple. We know now that the masks do very little to help and the fact that the vaccinated still have to wear a mask just makes it even more insane. Let’s please use some common sense and start actually living by our faith in God instead of faith in the government which has shown to be inept in this situation time and and time again,
Thank you

I think the mask as well as the vaccination should be up to the individual, my body my choice!

It has continually been pushed upon us that it is our Christian duty to wear masks for the health and safety of others. Christian duty, however, demands considering the emotional, spiritual, and physical aspects of the human. Masks may in some modicrum protect the physical, but I'm done talking to person after person who feels isolated and alone. "Mind, Body, and Spirit" is currently in your mission statement but you only pay attention to body. Love the whole person, and give an intelligent student body the dignity to make decisions about our health for ourselves. There will never stop being more covid variants, that's how viruses work. We're paying thousands of dollars a year to go to a school that tells us to "live uncommon" but makes the common choice at every opportunity. Stop the hypocrisy and lead by example, we'd like to see you fear God more than Covid or bad publicity.

The CDC says you don’t have to be a woman to be pregnant.
I think this simply shows the cdc is politicized and our health decisions shouldn’t be based of what they say

Masks should be a choice. There is a lot of data stating masks don’t work. Excessive wearing of masks can actually be harmful to you.

I despise the fact that I pay A LOT of money to take these classes and I’m not allowed the choice if I wear a mask or not. I’m an adult, paying adult money to attend this school. Adults can make their own decisions.
If someone is concerned about covid and wants to wear a mask, by all means I support that. If someone would prefer to take virtual classes, good thing our professors have that procedure down!

CUW professes to be Lutheran and proclaims it’s students to live uncommon. Young adults should be able to make their own decisions to mask. Those individuals who are afraid of SARS-19 can mask or attend online. Many of the students have either had covid or been vaccinated but regardless mandatory masking is not based on faith but in fear. God guards the lives of the faithful ones.
