We need this runway sorted. It's a disgrace we shouldn't have to put up with this. We pay our taxes to guernsey like everyone else. And we get an appalling service from aurigny.

I cannot see the point in even discussing this ultra urgent issue. The runway is Alderney’s lifeline if it is in need of repair then repair it straight away

The negative impact the runway is having on our island is compelling. It is not only effecting us financially, but it also the cause of a rise in mental health issues. Several friends of mine are anxious of the survival of our wonderful island. This is ALL due to the States of Guernsey’s unjustifiable delays in undertaking the essential remedial works to the runway. We don’t want anything extravagant, just a safe and adequate surface. PLEASE, for the love of God, get the works done ASAP. Every day that passes, the cost of the necessary works increase! This needs to be at the the TOP of the States of Guernsey’s agenda. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!

Resurfacing and widening of Alderney’s runway is not only paramount to the regeneration of Alderney’s economy it is a matter of life or death, it is constantly being repaired, if it caused a plane crash it could result in loss of life, there is nothing more important it has be done now before it’s too late.
