Guernsey cannot take over the Alderney Airport,use the Airport untill the main runway is unfit for purpose,and then give it back!!

This has dragged on 14 years too long and I cannot believe it has been left to this critical moment by the States of Guernsey. The reality of runway closure has never been this real. We have to take matters into our own hands as we cannot remain in this state of 'limbo' with risk to life and economy any longer.

The airport is a lifeline to residents and island tourists. Not to repair and have reasonable airfares will ruin Alderney and its economy

Imperative that this work is professionally carried out . Too many times flights have been cancelled due to the state of the runway.
