The time for playing at politics is over. It's time for politicians to deliver on what they've been elected for - or stand aside.

Absolutely disgusting the way Guernsey are treating Alderney. Alderney pay their taxes etc above and beyond too the States of Guernsey, but what do Guernsey do for Alderney ( Apparently we are part of the baliwick of Guernsey!!! ) They were happy to use Alderney during the so called "Baliwick bubble " but not so much now it's going to cost them money !!!! SHAME ON YOU GUERNSEY

I cannot understand why Guernsey refuse to sort this out. It has always been the SOG 'S responsibility to repair and sort out this very important issue as and when
"THEY" decided to take over Aurigny ( Hmm but what does AURIGNY translate too)

Airfields are a literal lifeline to island communities, it is imperative that Guernsey and the UK Government maintain this critical piece of national infrastructure.
A mile of road will take you a mile, a mile of runway can take you anywhere. Please maintain this short strip of tarmac that provides Guernsey's link to the world!

We need the basics. A well constructed runway wide enough with good drainage and lighting.

Does the States of Guernsey require an accident to happen before taking action? Waiting for an adequate level of common sense doesn’t seem to be working.

A few hundred meters of tarmac can open you the world. Let’s fix this runway.

Seems like an obvious necessity for an island!
