The airport needs a safe runway.The island needs this connectivity.We ourselves left this beautiful island because of the lack of flights and the horrendous prices.But safety is of utmost importance and the runway needs urgent attention…now.

Alderney is as much part of the Bailiwick as Guernsey, Herm & Sark and the government should address such an obvious safety issue without question. Spend money on needed and worthwhile projects like Alderney's runway which is the community's lifeline and has been highlighted for repair for ages. This important project shouldn't need a petition, just common sense.

Guernsey states appear to be playing Russian roulette with our island, if anything ,God forbid, many heads will roll.
Air links need to be reliable and safe.
