Show your support in getting the Modica Study Hall (our 2nd home) reopened for those of us who are still on the island studying for Term 4, STEP or other!
The silence from the board continues to be frustrating. I have been spending my nights writing follow-up emails while hoping for a change of heart regarding the study hall doors. We are drained but this is too important to quit now.

Seeing the weight behind this request grow has been a stark reminder of how much we all need a dedicated place to work. It is exhausting to fight for a space that should have been open all along but the momentum keeps me moving forward.

Modica is an excellent way to be prepared to do questions in a cubicle that is similar to the USMLE acomadations.

If the aim of SGU is for students to succeed and score well on STEP, steps to accommodate students (and make their preparation as seamless and stress-free as possible) should take priority over everything else. Please reopen Modica Study Halls!

I agree Modica South is the only place that I can study and not freeze to the point I can't think. Along with 4th terms and 5th termer there are also MPH students here for their summer term until July. We all need more study space!

Taking summer Kaplan Step prep course, makes no sense to close study halls- January class is 500 people and over 200 of us are taking Kaplan- Taylor Hall will not physically fit us all...

Modica south is the only hall that isn't freezing. I get serious raynauds from my medication and can't study in Taylor or any of the other rediculously cold study halls

Modica is where I've been studying for the past year. Changing my study habits for the 6 weeks before step can be very detrimental, and I decided to remain on the island to prepare for the Step for the particular reason that I have a routine and study space that I am accustomed to. Opening Modica North would be extremely beneficial to my preparation for Step and would be extremely appreciated.
