We, the undersigned employees of Orange Business Services, Orange Trading Services, Group Marketing North America and GlobeCast Americas: • Wish to express our strong disappointment in the replacement of Renée Vallet, who after thirty years of service in France Telecom and Orange facilities as a France Telecom North America employee and then as an employee of temp agency Johnson Controls in our Group’s New York facility, has not been hired by Orange Business Services’ temporary agency ABM. This decision effectively resulted in her service to the Orange France Telecom group being terminated 17 months before her scheduled retirement. • Affirm that Ms. Vallet provided valuable transversal support across our three companies as well as flawless logistical management and that in her absence this support is lacking. • Are concerned that the revised job description of receptionist, which saw Renée Vallet’s refusal, is inadequate to cover the logistical needs of our facility and does not offer the abovementioned support provided by Ms. Vallet. • Are unclear as to how, as ABM’s client, Orange Business Services would not be within its rights to recommend Ms. Vallet as an employee, or, if necessary, to work with another agency if ABM refused to hire her. • Recommend that, in view of the above, Orange Business Services take the necessary steps to rehire Renée Vallet, that she be allowed to return to work as soon as feasible, and until her retirement in May 2013. • Wish to urge Orange Business Services management to take the above into full consideration, and thank them in advance for an official response on the matter.
