Dear Mr. John Calderone, Health and Safety Manager, TDSB:
As a member of the community located at 151 Hiawatha Avenue, Toronto (Roden Junior Public School, Equinox Holistic Alternative School, Roden Community Childcare Centre, Parent and Family Literacy Centre)— I am concerned about the heath and safety impact of the poor indoor air quality on our students, staff, volunteers, parents and community partners.
I support the proposed action of the immediate removal of carpets in the building, and the retrofitting of windows to allow fresh air into the building.

RIDICULOUS that this hasn't been dealt with yet. Our kids deserve to breathe clean air while they are at school. Do better.
My son has been coming home with headaches all year. Those old carpets are holding so much dust. Just get them out already!
Hard to believe kids are expected to learn in stuffy rooms without any fresh air. Open the windows and rip up the disgusting carpet.
Take the carpets out. They are nasty and impossible to keep clean. The health of the students should be the main priority.
The air quality at Roden is honestly awful. You can smell the mustiness the second you walk in the door.

Fix the windows so we can actually vent the rooms. Simple fix for a huge health problem.
