The board officially voted to remove the bars from the school, and I am honestly still in shock that this actually happened. None of this would have been possible without your help because you are the ones who turned this into a real conversation. Thank you for keeping a close …
I have been reading through the comments you all left and I am honestly overwhelmed by how many of you feel the same way about the bars at our school. This has grown into something much bigger than I ever imagined because of the community stepping up to speak out. I am working on getting our concerns in front of the board members and I will let you know as soon as there is a response.

I am honestly stunned by how many of you have stepped up to help. This momentum belongs entirely to the neighborhood residents who decided these barriers have no place at our school.
