Hello everyone, Phthalates is a term that most people have not heard of. It is a substance used commonly in everyday life and is becoming more common everyday. To an extent, it makes our lives much more bearable being used primarily in plastic and beauty products. Science has shown that phthalates are also a gender-bender. They cause demasculinization on a large scale. The effects of phthalates have already been seen in fish which were male yet formed ovaries. As humans, we are slightly immune, but as the product increases and is passed down through the generations, it is starting to have an effect on humans. Eventually we will be just like those fish unless we can stop or put a halt to the use of phthalates. This is no small matter. While it is possible to muse at the idea; I will lay this flat out. We are talking about the possible extinction of the human race. This would not happen for many generations to come, but eventually it will happen. There are countless articles with evidence showing the effects that phthalates have had on living organisms, people included. We cannot artificially produce life so we need to continue having both men and women in society for the continuation of our species. Finally, even if you think that this is a bunch of hog-wash, please sign anyways. Even if the human race doesn't go extinct, the effects of phthalates is still currently causing sexual deformities (low sperm count, wrong reproductive organs, decreased testicle size), to men worldwide. Companies that use phthalates are not required to post their use of the product so most people are uninformed of this. Please research, then sign. Thanks all.
