Hired a choir teacher last year to be the offensive coordinator. Not sure what was going on in Jones mind. Ended up firing the coach after. Then stuck with the same offense this year and the record explains it all. They are English teachers. Not football coaches.

My grandson transferred to RiverRidge his senior year to play football due to Coach Jones’ coaching. While he’s enjoying football again, he wanted to graduate from Timberline like the rest of his family. Sad disruption to his life.

Coach Jones is unfit to coach Young man he's unfair, treats them unfairly. He doesn't listen to his other team of coaches. He does not value the opinion of the other coaches.

Coach Jones has consistently shown how little he cares for my son and for other athletes. Sad that my son committed his heart to this program for four years..worst senior season I could have imagined for him.

They are not in it for the kids, the program needs a resfreshing. Program needs coaches who want to showcase Timberline in a positive light and bring some of the best records to the school

These coaches are unprofessional and is known to stop the progress of future athletes that is under them and to ban parents. They try to circle back once the athletes shines at another school or college as if they contributed to the growth

Being a former coach I understand how much time, and effort it takes to field a team. I'm always appreciative of individuals who step up, and take on the responsibility of being a coach. I also understand that there will always be different philosophies when it comes to offensive/defensive scheme, and personnel decisions. I also understand that there will be ups and downs from year to year in any program, it's to be expected. What I don't understand is why tell your players that they're going to lose before they take the field? That type of mentality shouldn't be a part of any football program, or any sport. These young men deserve better than that. If that mentality is at the core of the program, it won't matter what personnel you bring in, it won't matter what scheme you install, the program will fail.

Our high school football program is supposed to be an integral part of our community in more ways than one. It brings people together but also gives the younger community who participates in our feeder program (TCYFL Blazers) something to look forward to when they reach the high school level. Where we stand at this point with the disappointing past few years is that these kids get to that level and then don’t want to participate under the current coaching staff or they do participate but are made to feel less than or not as important as key players. It’s very disheartening to watch and needs to be rectified IMMEDIATELY!!!

No cowards that protect the coaches unethical behavior on and off the field are the problem. This is not the only petition or evidence that will be presented to the school board.
And parents not afraid to speak up for the present and their future student athletes should not be shamed or shut down.
Research is key. If you read instead of going down a road of taking shots and making idiotic remarks towards the students as well. this is more then just wins and losses that's an example. Leadership reflects Leadership. And these coaches lack that.
So " Tough Reality" that student went on a scholarship that was sought out and work for by the student and the students parents.

This program tried to tear my son’s confidence down. It also tried to keep them becoming successful in the future all while smiling to the parents as we wiped away the tears at home. These are some of the weakest and worst (men) that I have ever seen before and they are not fit to build up anyone’s young men.

It makes me sad to see a program I as well as many others poured a lot of blood sweat and tears into just to see it torpedoed by stubbornness and thinking a change that was completely unnecessary was needed.
