Final supporters
Southern University at New Orleans Chancellor has never been student friendly. He is only concerned about the number of enrolled students and not the well being of his students.He has been convicted of stuffing registration at SUNO, and refuses to make changes to the University.
A FEW OF OUR CONCERNS:
-We live in moldy apartments
-We have yellow jack spiders
-The grass is never cut
-The first floor of buildings are still "under construction"
-We do not have our student union
Where have our fees gone to?
Why can't anyone produce a REAL budget?
Where is the campus Wi-Fi?
Do you feel safe on campus where RAPES are swept under the rug?
The faculty senate has voted NO CONFIDENCE in the chancellor several times.
The SYSTEM removed Dr. Llorens, YET UKPOLO STILL STANDS!
IT'S TIME THAT WE, AS A STUDENT BODY, TAKE A STAND!!!

Two hundred and fifty people have actually signed this thing and my phone will not stop buzzing because I honestly did not think it would move this fast. It is wild to see so many of you fed up with the mold and the spiders and the complete lack of answers about where our money is going.

One hundred people actually signed this thing and my brain is honestly buzzing right now because I remember staring at the screen when it was just me and my roommate. It feels like maybe people are finally starting to look at the mold and the spiders and realizing we don't have to just accept this level of neglect.

As a paying student at Southern University of New Orleans my concerns are about my fees. I pay for a library fee which I do not fully have because the resources are limited and when classes are being held because it doesn't have space i am unable to attend. I pay for lab fees which we do not have and gym fees which we do not have I can go on about the fees I pay as a student and the many resources we do not have but yet have to pay for. I believe this is unfair and I really feel that something should be done because the students graduating from Southern University of New Orleans are the future.
I am a graduate of SUNO, and support the students decision to fight for a better quality education.
we need real results.... clean facilities, access to administrators. and our professors, i would like to know where our monies and fee charges are actually going.... and for shrine to explain how u can have an online class with no professor?
Something definitely has to change! I cannot reach any of my professors on their office phone because they either don't have one or it isn't connected.
TIME FOR CHANGE !!!! Where are our resources no full operating library after 5+ years after Hurricane Katrina. Where does our fees go the campus life sucks!!!! We should be in buildings after all these years after Katrina!!!

SUNO is the worst university I've attended. The buildings are deplorable. Most instructors (in the biology dept. )are incompetent. Dr Attiea to be specific gives grades to students who basically kiss his behind and there is no order with grades, scholarships or classroom management. The labs are always lacking in some way or another. I'm ashamed to say I'll be graduating from here. I've been having problems since I've been here and can't wait to get out because I won't turn back!
